Pumpkin Patch

We braved the cold and the rain to attend the pumpkin patch...Jacob's 1st time. Rain or not he loved every minute, especially the train.

Jacob enjoyed his first time in a bouncer and while it started out a little scary, he decided that it

was ok. Hopefully we won't have any permanent emotional damage.

It was an awesome MOPS outing and while Chloebug couldn't join us, we still had a blast with all of the little ones. jacob is even picking up on the ladies early.

If you are looking for a fun pumpkin patch with lots to do I highly recomend the Irvine Regional park Pumpkin Patch. It was great fun for toddlers to adults and they hav great pumpkins as well as activities. It is also very cost effective for a fun day trip.

I look forward to attending next year and every year after if we can.

Christmas Day 2009

Christmas Day is always interesting, I think I may have the only kids on the planet who don't wake up at the crack of dawn screaming, "we're ready!"

Chloe was up at 8 and when she came to get us we told her to wait til her brother woke up then we would all go down, she didn't even care. (Sometimes I think it's kind of sad, other times I am glad she isn't so focused on the presents that might be under the tree.)

Jacob woke up a little bit later and by about 9:00 we were all headed downstairs to see what Santa had brought.

Chloe was super excited to get a brand new 20" bike from Santa and from the looks of things Jacob liked it too.

The kids were super lucky this year because we had presenst from Santa and a little later we opened more presents from Mom, Dad, and Grandma.

Chloe's Favorite gift of the day we didn't even get a picture of, but she got Molly (her very 1st American Girls Doll) and she loves her. Chloe has taken her everywhere with us since Christmas Day. I am so glad she likes it so much, but it can be a bit of a hassle dragging an 18" doll all over the place.

Jacob's favorite toy was his brand new guitar. He's been trying to play with his sister's pink and white Barbie guitar for months so Dad decided it was time to get him one that wasn't PINK.

All in all it was another great Christmas for the Savage Family.

Christmas Eve at Disneyland

We spent Christmas Eve at Disneyland this year and even though we got there late we had a blast!
Jacob was totally facinated by how lit up Small World was and both kids loved the big Christmas Tree on Main Street.

We only got to ride a couple rides but we did get to see the fireworks and the snow, it is always so much fun and fortunbately it wasn't very busy...until the fireworks were over and we tried to go into the shops on Main Street, it was chaos.
I couldn't believe that they were packing up the Christmas stuff in all the stores and putting out stuff for 2010. It was amazing the change over happened in a matter of a couple hours.
All was good and we made it home before Santa so that's all that really matters. :)
